The garden is now bursting with colourful hot spots…rich colours glowing against the dark shadows cast by the heavy lush foliage. The warmth and the sun make this one of the best June and July’s that I can remember….so here are a few more colour packed glows that I hope you will like…..
Even those shady areas are full of rich growth where the humble green strikes a bright note of colour….
My apologies if recent postings have been rather heavy on the flora of our life, but the weather has been so good and productive that we just could not ignore its colourful bounty. Even Buster (our Head of Security) has enjoyed just being out in the garden…even though he did appear to be asleep whilst supposedly standing guard….

Oh wow, David. Fantastic. The honeysuckle – I can almost smell it. Please give a pet to Buster and Carla?

They get enough petting as it is…anymore and they will be thinking that they rule the household!

A riot of colour, what a wonderful garden you must have and after such a long winter who can blame you for enjoying the flowers while you may.

It is easy to cheat…..the garden is not that large or magnificent, it certainly wouldn’t win any prizes….. so I select the colourful hot spots, zoom into those and ignore the rest. A trip to the garden centre adds some other seasonal colours.

Oh, thank you. I was getting quite depressed that you had such variety in an English country garden 🙂
