There is still plenty of colour in our garden that state clearly that it is still summer…but the first signs of the pending autumn are starting to show…….
Some leaves are starting to turn whilst others, dry from the hot dry summer have already fallen. Nor has the remnants of ex- hurricane Bertha helped as it lashed our woods with heavy rains and strong winds, which in turn, has hastened the fall of other leaves before there time along with Chestnuts not yet ripe….
….but no doubt it will all turn out fine in the grand scheme of the natural world! Perhaps that is why the Moon ended our day with a brighter than normal glow….

Thank you…I did wonder about it as I have the same shot without my soft focus filter on….anyway soft won out this time as I thought the glow more appropriate.
