Our three small pots of miniature Strawberries have suffered in the rains of the last few days, that and the sudden drop in temperature, has done for them this year. Whilst we never got an abundant crop it was always sweet and flavour packed. Something else to look forward to next year.

I love the wonderful ‘immediate’ colours here. I can almost reach out and give those tired-looking strawberry plants a gentle and kindly pat for their work during Summer.
I don’t mind Summer coming to an end; I’ve always been more of an Autumn and Spring person. I prefer mellow 🙂
