We lived in hope yesterday that the day would wake up……but it didn’t. Just before sundown, when the sun would be low, it did try to peak above the horizon to give just a hint of warm colour to what had been a milky grey day. The lone Swan on the lake enjoyed its solitary evening paddle. Today, Friday looks no better, just dull grey and very still.
