Woke to a bright and sunny morning, though there were some threatening clouds towards the north. So we headed off to the woods to make the most of this unexpected bright start. Temperatures were hovering about the 3c mark, which is colder than of late but that just helped to invigorate us.
The low early sun managed to break the horizon and catch my favourite bent Beech Trees adding the usual touch of mystery as they stretch for the skies…

I blinked again and those clouds that had held a threat with their presence moved in and that was that… the weather reverted to type, grey damp and rather colourless.
So we made for home and office feeling rather smug that we had enjoyed the best of what the day had on offer.

This time of the year you can never be sure what weather has in store for you!
Never! But sometimes there is a grand sunset! (If you’re in luck!)
