Dwarf Irisย on our Patio are bringing a touch of Spring to the garden.

Welcome as the Iris are, we still only have a lone Crocus and a few Snowdrops….it all seems out of sync with the grand seasonal plan.
I do wonder if it ever will get back to what we would call normal

The power went out this afternoon for 3-4 hours – no air-conditioning. Back on now fortunately! It was only 35 here ๐

I think we should all forget “normal days”… ๐ But my love reminded me and made a point about this, many many years ago when we met with my Love, (on 7th February) in Istanbul, there was a day like a summer…. I remember we walked with only t-shirt…. So what means this, in time we live such a day like that… ๐ maybe everything is as usual… ๐ Your photograph so beautiful, their colours are amazing. Thank you dear David, have a nice day and new week, love, nia

Thank you Nia…..you are right, all sense of normality with the weather can be abandoned. But as we have often said we have to ‘live for the moment’. Take care in these troubled times

Spring, David? In early February? My, you ARE an optimist! ๐
Your MET office sais this: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/learning/learn-about-the-weather/how-weather-works/when-does-spring-start
However, I myself have had quite enough of this continuous Autumn weather. We have a stiff gale blowing here at the moment. Luckily it’s dry and there’s even sunshine! But the continuous storms are getting to me and I am losing my patience. I do want to come over and see my friend in Hunmanby but in this weather I will neither sail nor fly. I am a bit of a coward, I think…
