Two consecutive mornings of sunshine……
Big Wood, Allestree, Derbyshire
It was another morning that woke to bright sunshine, however yesterdays was a warming glowing sun even though it had been frosty….To-day the light is just as bright but is cuttingly cold and its low angle slicing through the woods.
February, so as you would expect the Beech trees are bare but the scene looks more autumnal than spring like….
Despite the cold (2c) it was still pleasant enough to linger and even Carla and Buster felt it worthwhile to pause and do a spot of early sunbathing…

Thankfully our little part of this world rarely gets smog, even our mist seems light and airy….and I do feel for those who must miss these crystal clear days.
