A Lakeside panorama with a hint of Spring…
Whilst we have been enjoying some touches of Spring the weather has been far from Spring like…that is until this morning when we woke to a warm, calm and sunny day that really did feel as if Spring has sprung.
Round the Lake the trees are now bursting into life and at the lake edges the vegetation is pushing its way into the light following its winters slumbers.
Bluebells have done well this year.Β Whilst some are now falling back to recover for next year others seem to have developed a new lease on life…

They cannot last for many more days as the tree canopy is getting thicker starving them of the vital light they need…. they will die back and disappear from whence they came to await next Spring.
Meantime its is one of the pleasures of Spring to enjoy…..a feast for the eyes and realΒ scent that is full of the aroma of theΒ season.
Β
And here is my promise…no more Bluebells pics till 2017….after all you can have too much of a good thing π

While we have not had a hard winter it does seem to have taken spring along time to arrive this year…..and who knows what is next π

Yeah… that is right, David. But look at the new borns around you. The grandchildren you have. The Wheel IS turning. Even though we may not really appreciate its speed… Thank you for the magnificent Blue Bells. I know where to find some here, but the people pick them and take them home for in a vase. None are left. And the places where they can be found are but few. The weather forecast overhere is absolutely SUMMER for the rest of the week. Temperatures between 20ΒΊ and 24ΒΊ, a little breeze from the South East for dry in most places. Next week there may just be the odd little shower but that’s it. Spring is going to make good for last week’s icy cold winds! π and I hope it will happen in England as well. π

It is against the law here to pick wildflowers….and the penny seems to have dropped as they all seem to be left alone and folk even tread with care whilst there here. As for the weather …….looks good at the moment but we will wait and see

That’s David, this year I turn 60 and start seeing the winter coming on, but there is always renewal and new life, and recall the roses last year. π
