High Tide….and Low Tide
Twice a day the tide level swings from High tide and great for sailing… to Low tide and great for the Waders and Seabirds to have a feast. Here at Skippool Creek low is very evident leaving miles of open sand and mudflats….in 6 hours the boat will once again be afloat.
I hope you like this as an idea for this weeks Daily Post Photo Challenge of Opposites.

Love this image!
One of my favourite places! Used to visit very regularly when my Mother in Law lived less than 1/2 mile away from here….so I have seen it in all states of tide and seasons so this spot and this small stretch of coast has provided hours of interest just watching the changes.
Looks very peaceful, and I love the colour palette…

Beautiful frame!
Tranquil… peaceful, the soft noise of the water and maybe some guls high in the sky. I could do my siesta here.
Not to peaceful at low tide. It is not so much the Gulls overhead but the masses of waders probing the mud with long beaks looking for lunch…I think they are call each other to let them know they are there because should a Peregrine approach there is a sudden change in call and all take to the wing.
Welcone David to my blog. Thanks for following. I love your photographs and am delighted each day to get your posts.
