The Five Sisters of Kintail, from Loch Duich, North West Scottish Highlands
Believe it or not, but the worst of the storm had just passed, presenting just a very brief pause in the rain. Just enough time to venture out of the car and a short visual window in which to get this image of the Five Sisters. Yep, the rain did return a minute or two later and the mountains were once more lost in cloud.
I though it a fitting image for the current moody weather we have been “enjoying”

This photo is ready to feature in another Lord of The RIngs movie or in a Harry Potter movie. Very moody and so beautiful.
We did see some sunshine today and also rain. On the whole it’s very nice to see a horizon instead of grey merky fog… 😀

Advance forecast seems to change faster than I change my shoes across the day! But if we are to have a winter it has to come soon 🙂

Love the area….so many folk just dash past on the way to “that” castle then onto Skye. They miss so much. Plus of course a diversion can be made to Loch Hourn and Arnisdale (where there is no one about for most of the time)
