Bergen, Norway
There is always something rather exciting and magical about looking down on a town, village or city . In this instance it is the sheltered Norwegian harbour of Bergen.
Down at the harbour side you look up at multi story buildings feeling rather dwarfed by there size and confined by all the narrow streets…the only escape seemingly out into the bay! But from atop of Mount Fløien another dimension comes into play…..life in miniature is played out below you, familiar scenes look so different, people scurry about like ants in slow motion.
And getting atop couldn’t be easier…just get aboard the funicular for an exhilarating ride to the top…

Just my suggestion for this weeks DP Photo Challenge. You can see what others have suggested on this link:- https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/atop/

That’s impossible! You must’ve bribed the weather gods! 🙂

LOL….no it is all part of a Fred Olson cruise package. We had a little drizzle in the Faroes but nothing dramatic, then Iceland Arctic circle down the fjords and ending in Stavanger all bright sunshine…..

Nah, you must have sacrificed a virgin or something to get that lucky! 😀
