Smell that scent……and you know its summer

Lavender….

It is always remarkable just how much fragrance one solitary flower spike of Lavender can emit  (not to mention those fragrant oils that can be harvested).

Each spike is so delicate and wafts so lazily in any breeze.

But at it best Lavender needs to be ‘on mass’ edging a pathway with both colour and perfume, a proper summer scene ….

  1. I used to have them on my balcony. Not this year tho. But I still have some scent bags in my wardrobe. 🙂
