From Little Acorns…Great Oak’s Grow
I thought I would add this image to this week WP Photo Challenge – Experimental.
Three years ago we collected a few Acorns.Β The following spring one of those acorns had produced a sprout, so we potted it up.Β Now after those three years we can brag about a new Oak tree in the making….all be it only 15 inches high.Β Now it has reached another autumn and the leaves have turned that golden brown, so just so long as it survives the coming winter, we hope that given time, it will be come a Great Oak.
Just a last minute suggestion for the WP Photo Challenge of Experimental.

I love this little guy. Are you keeping the pot frost free or will he be in the conservatory?
