1. Superb colours – I haven’t been to the Lakes for ages…I keep meaning to go to photograph the stone circles, but there is always something to do here that stops me going. I love Buttermere…great shot David.

   1. This view is certainly treeless…but to the right is the start of a conifer plantation along the lakeside though even there the trees don’t reach the skyline
