Boxing Day, the day after the Traditional Festivities….and usually, for us, a day of restful thanksgiving and remembering. Relaxing and definitely avoiding the Boxing Day Sales.
I guess Peace is what we are striving to achieve so maybe this Victorian Christmas Card illustrates it so well…

Shops open can be handy for some people. Myself? I have enjoyed the day with a crossword puzzle, a good book, and the in the morning the Top 500 classical music on Classic FM and in the afternoon the TOP 2000 on our Radio 2. That’s pop music, tear jerkers (is that a word? hihi) and all sorts of blasts from the past since the 60-ties. With a nice large pot of tea on the tea light. No use for a tea cosy needed. 🙂
