The MacMillan Cross, Kilmory
I thought that these carved Celtic stones would give a different slant to this weeks challenge. The large MacMillan Cross is the largest in this collection that has been assembled here in Kilmory Knap Church. The Church dates back to 13th century and the Cross to 15th century.
All the stones that make up this collection have come from the surrounding area, some pre date the Church, all are skilfully carved and now thankfully protected in this Church which itself is a protected building.
Kilmory Knap Church can be found on the Knapdale Peninsula, Argyll, Scotland
Just a suggestion for this weeks Cee’s B&W Challenge.

I do like your multiple shots of the various locations, often the locations get added to one of my lists.
