  1. Ah yes, Castlerigg….I only saw it on a gloomy day many years ago, but I might have an image of my father’s which was on a sunny day…

    1. As you say it can be a very gloomy spot. Also very wet. I have posted shots in the past when I have been lucky and enjoyed some late afternoon sun…. but thought this ‘in between’ shot was appropriate for the season and the run of strange weather we are ‘enjoying!’ 🙂
