Saint Georges Day…. Patron Saint of England
I think most people are familiar with the Flag of Saint George…. a bold red cross on a white ground….. an immediate symbol of England.
But I have to confess…. I have no knowledge of why Saint George, the mythical slayer of Dragons should be our Patron Saint…. after all he never ever set foot in England – Just a thought
Our lives today, are based much more on solid facts and reality…. so as always….

No idea…. and judging by the lack.of media mentions, I guess they have no idea. The other nations always get more mentions and coverage of local celebrations.
