A Canal-side Walk

_DSC7874qqq

A hazy sun, some lingering mist but rather warm, definitely short sleeve weather… not bad for a morning walk by the Trent & Mersey Canal.  Location was around Fradley Junction, a bust crossroads where the Coventry Canal joins the main Trent & Mersey.

Always a busy spot.  locks with names such as Hunts Lock, Shadehouse and Keepers Lock, plus the occasional bridge, add greatly to the local character of this popular spot.

  1. Seems there is a canal traffic… In around Devizes I saw a canal, now I am thinking why we don’t have a canal tour, maybe there wasn’t there. Anyway, Beautiful photographs. Thank you dear David, Love, nia
