INVEREWE GARDENS, POOLEWE, SCOTLAND
Facebook has, for the past few days, been sending me memories of 7 years ago. We were on a late holiday to the North West of Scotland, a location we often headed to in late September and October…. the weather was usually good for late autumn.
One location we visited was the Botanical Gardens at Inverewe. The gardens owe there rich colourful vegetation, so far north in Scotland, because of the influence of the warm Atlantic Gulf Stream.

Sometime looking back is good for the inner soul…. and revisiting Inverewe Gardens in my achieve brightened my day… memories are good

I hope you have enjoyed this brief look at these remote gardens, an unlikely location in North West Scotland, for so many botanical treasures, at a time in the seasons when many should be sound asleep to await the next Spring.
I hope you enjoyed the brief visit….and as always…..

Facebook gets a bad press at times but I like the surprise it throws our way from the memory bank 🙂
