1. I loved Watendlath, even though it was raining when I was there

   1. Well, Grange in Borrowdale, which is directly below in the valley, is supposed to be one of the wettest places in England. I too have been wet at Watendlath but also baked to a frazzle.. and one time nearly snowed in. 😃

   1. Well, i won’t tell you about the cream teas in the sunshine in the farms garden ovelooking the stone bridge… that would be cruel
