There hasn’t been much to cheer about this January.. weather atrocious, though maybe not as bad as for many others.
But on the odd occasion we have some sunshine and a brief respite from the rains, there are some horticultural hot spots.
The Cyclamen steel she show for vibrance…but in the shade the Hellebore are starting to show…. more delicate but surviving the weather hazards… their common name is Christmas Rose, though ours have never flowered over Christmas.
Just a few more days and we move into February and I am once again left pondering.. .where did January go to ?.
We can do nothing about time travel, but we all can…
