Abandoned, not quite sunk without trace.
They say that sailors hold their vessels with affection… even referring to them as ‘she’.
This old lady left washed up and nowhere to sail to. Sad, after she probably gave the sailor lots of fun and enjoyment over the years.
To late for this old lady, but you can still….

I’m sure it had some mighty fine moments on the water. Oh but I’d love to have that boat partially buried in my flower garden as an accent to put my flowers and heron statues around. (We are seriously looking for an old small wooden boat to do this!)
