An Easter Book…. for Easter Sunday…

This is the cover of a rather special little Book…it was also an Easter Greetings Card… measuring 3.5 x 4.5 inches, it is has a hard cover and 14 pages. Printed in a sepia and dark green ink on a cream paper and board. It must have been a premium publication as the page edges are blocked in gold.

It dates back to between 1900 and 1912 and was published by Raphael Tuck and Sons of London and printed at their Fine Art Works in Saxony.

This little treasure is a collection of words celebrating life and Spring, with simple illustrations.

I thought it worth sharing this Easter Sunday… it may be a little difficult to read, age has not been kind, but I hope it works in your browser, your phone may be little small. So for better or worse here are one or two pages…
