It was once the favourite home of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. It is some time since I was inside the Castle. I doubt the inetrior will have changed, it was so intimate. Small castle and lovelly gardens and a remote setting with grand views over the Pentland Firth. Revisited many times, well worth including in any
Tour of Scotland.

They say treaures come in small packages… not the largest Scottish Royal Castle, intriguing exterior and intimate interior. A little gem.
