The Nine Ladies Stone Circle, Stanton Moor, Derbyshire
Dark shadows from a low early morning winters sun add a touch of drama to this Neolithic Stone Circle. Surrounded by Silver Birch the Nine Ladies is still used at the Winter and Summer Solstice by Druids who worship the changing pattern of the year.
