The Poppies that have given so much colour are now starting to drop but they leave behind a seed head crammed tight with seeds for next year. The last of the Iris bravely tries to put on a final show…..
so its goodbye to these magnificent flowers until next season….It is now the turn of the Stocks and Phlox to make their colourful entry to the summer borders…….
The Water Lilies are continuing for a while longer to grace the Lilly Pond and provide cover for the fish…..
One thing we can usually guarantee is that we will have some Roses in bloom through till at least October…Yep they give us great value for our money……
Its Mid Summers Day and we are in for a treat as we head off to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, London…..So whilst we will not be home today we will try to do our best to bring you some of todays delights …… tomorrow.
