Yew Tree Farm, Yewdale, Coniston, Cumbria
Yew Tree Farm nestles below the surrounding hills of Holme Fell and Wetherlam, sheltered for the most part from the extremes of the weather. March, and life be starting anew this spring. Daffodils will bloom alongside the walls, Herdwick Lambs will appear in numbers… and of course an increase in visitors. In a few weeks time those tables in the garden in front of the farm will be earning their keep for the farm with teas and cakes for passing ramblers. Winter wows will soon be forgotten…….. Till then
