Gatesgarthdale Beck, above Honister Pass, Borrowdale, Cumbria. The beck is running fast, water flowing down to the valley and lakes below. A good sign for many. Though despite heavy rains of late, we are still getting drought warnings in many parts of the UK.
Cumbria I think has enjoyed much more than its fare share of the wet stuff…. like much else in life, not everything is shared out equally.
