Is This the Real Spring….or only Autumn Make Believe!

Seems-Like-Autumn-again

This morning you would be forgiven for thinking that is was still autumn.  The woodland floor still looking very much like an autumn carpet.  Even the early morning light, as it cuts through the bare winter trees on this January day, is doing its best to hang onto that autumnal glow…….

Further into the woods you are brought back to reality with stark reminders of the recent storms and gales…..once there was a track through here….not now…

Once-there-was-a-Path

So we have a sunny start to the day but how long will it last?  I am not sure but intend making the most of the unseasonably clement weather whilst we can.  Have a good day.

  1. It’s turned unseasonably warm here too, for a while, and since I can’t do anything about it except to think again about global warming, I plan to enjoy it, as well!
