The sun shone, the wind dropped and despite clear skies the temperatures increased a few degrees…certainly enough to to coax these sheep, in lamb, to relax awhile and sunbath.
But despite the lack of rain today it will still be some time before the flood waters of the past month recede. Bad enough over farm land but horrendous when it invades peoples homes…I cannot imagine how devastating that can be. More storms on the way.

Good for both of us–we’re in the midst of our first real precipitation in months and should have 6-8 inches by morning. It’s a bit windy, though, so it may not be as pretty as it might be after a windless snowfall. We’ll see…
