A hardy Herdwick Ewe. Cannot be far from lambing time, so I bet she is hoping that this never ending succession of storms comes to an end. It is a tough life as it is for Hardwick’s on the Cumbrian Fells and nature at the moment is making life just that bit tougher.

No we are well away from the floods ad live on a hill. But the floods are really bad for large areas and one does wonder just what one can do to help both short term and long term. It really is a bad scenario for those effected and life change for so many
