Mirror, Mirror on the Water….which is the fairest of them all
Late evening in the Upper Derwent Valley, Derbyshire. A near cloudless sky and the waters of Howden Reservoir were flat calm, hardly a ripple reflecting the twin towers of Howden Dam and woodland along the shores.
Mirror reflections….Twice as Nice

I agree. The water and reflections look like glass. So still, so pure. Brilliantly done, David 🙂

Is THIS the famous Lake of Glass then where the best companion Arthur ever had, is resting on the bottom? Is it here where Excaliber, of Caliburn (which ever name people coose) is resting till the times thet England need Arthur and Excalibur again?

Not a chance this body of water didn’t exist till the 20th century. But its claim to fame is that those twin towers were used to train the famous Dam Busters Squadron
