The Heardman’s Barn

Grindsbrook, Edale, Derbyshire

Winter sunshine catches the colours of the gritstone of the Heardman’s Barn. Passed by a great many walkers, either starting or finishing, on their journey along Pennine Way Long Distance Path….. no doubt many with weary legs have paused awhile on the rustic bench sheltered from the wind.
