Clematis in Bud…
Easter Monday and Spring continues to bring us its new charms and promises more to come. The Clematis is now in bud, soon these little globs will burst into a mass of little pink flowers….all they need is a little more warm sunshine.
The only fly in the ointment is that the forecasters are predicting dramatic falls in temperatures, and dramatically low overnight temperatures from -5C to -7C. and that is not good for these tender buds.
As for today, well the garden is peaceful …..sadly very unlike all the uncertainty across the World.

Your buds hold promise of something pleasant and warm, but here we woke to an inch of snow ( plus 2 degrees) this morning. April surprise!

Buds full of promises of spring and summer with scented flowers and buzzing bumblebees. Wonderful image, David. Thank you. We have no snow but SeeNorway made me thing of this: http://photo-day.ru/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/First-snow-in-the-UK-008.jpg
