It kind of boggles my mind the things that are considered ‘antiques’ today. My husband and I recently were in an antiques ‘mall’ – a huge building with hundreds of dealers’ kiosks in it, if you’re not familiar with this idea. We laughed a lot because several items that were being sold as antiques sit in my kitchen cupboards. Apparently, our house is full of these so-called antiques! π Who knew???
You I know the concept…I guess they work on the idea that if you tell folk they are antiques in such surroundings folk will believe you. There is of course the other side of the coin….all those items you have thrown away and are now sort after as antiques of today or maybe tomorrow. π
You tell me!
