Although born in High Summer, I turned out to be an Autumn Child. 😀 I love this season with it colours and smells and it’s quiet time (reflection?) between Halowe’en and Yule (Winter Solstice). Birds are quiet as well. And yet.. walking in the park or a wood shows you many very promising signs of a new Spring. Just look at all the buds on bushes and shrubs and trees.
      Looking outside it looks like a nasty Autumn day with lots of rain and wind blowing up to 5 Bft. But it’s also 20º outside. Pretty weird.

      1. Strange weather indeed. We started the day with monsoon like rain….now clear skies and hot sun 21c. Love all the seasons, they are all individually special but if I could only have one it would probably be autumn even though it has end of life connotations.
