The beech and Oak woodlands are still green and showing few, if any, signs that autumn is on the way. Whilst we will celebrate autumns colours that will eventually arrive it is the vibrancy and the changes in hue of the greens over the season that I really enjoy…..and after a rain shower that refreshes the woodland they look magnificent and that equally fresh woodland smell lingers long in the memory.

It’s bucketting down here. All day. Things to do inside. I have been filling cracks (new built houses etc have them because ‘it all works’. And done some ironing. 😀
This photo makes me happy. Such a contrast with the outside world here.
