OK…I own up. It is not a photograph that I have taken….but it is an image of me!
In fact it is the only picture that I have with my Grandma Sargen, in fact the only picture of me with any of my Grandparents. The picture was taken in 1946 and it is also features my late sisters, Margaret (left) Anne (right) in our garden in Manchester.
I still think it qualifies for this weeks B&W Photo Challenge.

Lovely family photo, David. It’s good to hang on to them. Time is swift. I found out that old photo’s from the 80-ties turned totally black, while they were safe in an album. All I have left from my friends’husband Ron has gone. We may have the picture in our mind but being able to touch it does have a special feeling,

I know how you must cherish this photo. I’m working on a photo organizing project right now and I’ve enjoyed looking at the really old pictures so very much. I’m fortunate to have a few photos of my grandparents, who all died by the time I was nine. And I have four very old tin-type photos, but no one knows who the subjects are. Makes me sad, but I still hang on to them.
