An Arctic Summer Sunset
Taken a few years ago, I thought that this image of the sun going down at mid-summer over the Arctic Circle would make a fitting statement to honour the Summer Solstice.
Halfway through the year already…but maybe the best is yet to come.

Memorable….of all the sunsets I have images of that is the one I always recall first 🙂

Super sunrise. I was up yesterdaymorning but only to find thick grey clouds and a very stiff NW wind. It’s 15º overhere 🙂 but the promise of a heatwave next week, We desperatedly need rain. Lots of it. We’re not getting any. Even so, a sunsrise as in your photo makes it feel much better again.
