The very aptly named ‘Cold Side’ on the edge of Howden Moors.
Apt as the temperatures have started the winter drop. No complaints as we have enjoyed a fantastic Summer and an even better Autumn

It’s beautiful sunny overhere but the wind comes from the East and is very cold. And today Saint Nichlas arrived back in The Netherlands again (from Spain). Yeah.. tradition. Two weeks before the 5th of December when kids get loads of presents. Busy December here: Sinterklaas St Nick), Christmas and New Years Eve. We just celebrated Saint Martin. Works like Halloween: knock on front doors, sing and get sweets. Well, it’s way to get through the darkest time of year.

I meant to say I love the hoopla that helps keep people in a happy frame of mind, and I also know the value of approaching the season thoughtfully. Cheers
