   1. and probably always will do…… just not as many fishing boats as they once had. Now I will show my age….. when I was a small boy I remember all the boats in the harbour unloading ‘Pilchards’ which went straight into the canning factory on the corner of the harbour – a smelly, steamy operation canning the fish in a tomato sauce. The can was also a unique lozenge shape. That building is now of course a gift shop and café, what else! 🙂
