The North Yorkshire Moors
Just a snapshot of a very small part of the vast North Yorkshire Moors. Moor that sweep across deep dales, through thick forest and open expanses of heather glad open moor and then eventually down to the sea.
Here we are just above the small village of Rosedale Abbey. We see just a small part of the moors of Rosedale, Hamer and Wheeldale.
Whilst there are of course tourist hotspots, for the most part there is just miles of tranquil moor in which to explore and enjoy peace. The sound of birds for company.
At the moment the moors will be devoid of people….. but they will still be there when these troubled times are eventually over.
