Summer over the Cotswolds
The last day of August…so summer will now move into autumn. Gently we hope, or maybe we could be fortunate and enjoy an Indian summer.
Soon, familiar country-scape’s of lush fields of ripened crops, golden and ready for harvest will vanish till next year. As for the weather, well farmers will still be praying for dry weather whilst they complete the years harvest.

I don’t think the farmers have had a good year for some crops – wheat is one

And our autumn approaches…. not sure if it is
just my imagination but feel autumn is arriving much sooner this year.

Well, we finally got some rain here and with it, much cooler weather, which truly does feel like autumn is fast approaching. Even some leaves are already starting to turn and fall….it’s been a weird year in more ways than one.

Strange indeed…. and the year still has one third to go. Much can happen and I suspect not all good. All we can do is hope
