A new month…. August the 1st. Summer is of course still with us and I hope that it will remain for some time to come. But we cannot escape the time scale and that we are now well past the midpoint of the year.
The summer has been hot and dry. So like it or not we are starting to see the first signs that summer is heading, all be it slowly, towards autumn. The Willowherb has, in the sheltered hottest spots, already started to turn to seed….. just saying 🙂
