A Norwegian Memory……..

Two years ago we were at the end of a memorable trip to Northern Norway’s Fjords and Islands above the Arctic Circle.

Our last day was just as memorable as the previous fourteen.  Leknes, in the Lofoten Islands, was our last port of call.  It was a day of rain, dark clouds a rising wind but also plenty of dramatic blue skies and autumnal sunshine.

It was early evening as we sailed from Leknes, but before dark descended, Norway did its very best to give us a bright farewell…..  we were sad to leave, but I think it was encouraging us to return.  We may just to that.  🙂
