The Harbour, Lerwick, in the Shetlands
Sparkling red and white Trawlers safely moored in Lerwick’s harbour. For Trawlers that battle the wild seas between Shetland, Norway and Iceland, to me they looked exceptionally pristine.
I shared my thoughts with one of the Local Fishermen. He told me that these Trawlers were so efficient, that their catch soon reached the quota level. As a result they spend much of their time tied up. Now I don’t know enough about the fishing quotas, for these, or any other fishing waters…. but it sounds like a plausible possibility.
On Land or Sea…… or even up in the air….
