Cees Black & White Challenge…… Tails and Tongues

Interesting B&W Challenge from Cee this week….  Tails and Tongues.

I recall well coming across this rather placid Fallow Deer. He knew we were there.  We patiently waited in the hope that he would turn around…. sadly no.  I even moved my position slightly but the Deer stood still, just the occasional flick of the tail.

We must have shared the same space in the woods for well over 10 minute’s… then another flick of the tail he turned , a blink of his eye and then very silently drifted away and vanished deeper into the woods.

  1. I don’t get it?! BW-photography seems like enhancing camouflage of nature. ImagINE what these would have looked like in living colors?! A human body in candle light with an ingenious shadow play perhaps, but . . .
