River Dee at Braemar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland
Clouds touch the tops of the Cairngorms. Not far from its source high in the Cairngorms, it is here in the shadows of Mar Forest and close to the village of Braemar that the River Dee gathers it volume and momentum. Its journey will take it along the Glen known popularly as Royal Deeside at Balmoral. Its journey will end at Aberdeen.
