Wales 14 2 _3254qqq-web1000x1500U-100

Location:-  Chirk Castle, Denbighshire,  Wales

Chirk Castle is described as a 13th century Fortress on the English-Welsh Border.  Built to control the uprisings of the Welsh Princes.  Today the grounds and gardens are rather serene and a far cry from the Castle original defensive roll.

Loch Cill Chriosd, Broadford, Isle of Skye

Cloud covers Beinn Dearg Bheag beyond the Loch.  Autumns reeds are still standing, a tranquil end of year scene on Skye.  Heavy frosts  will see the end of those reeds until next springs revival.  🙂

Wells Cathedral, Somerset

They say, that our Religious forefathers created their Cathedrals to be a dominant statement of power, dominance, even a watchful eye over their communities.

There can be no doubt that Wells Cathedral does exactly that……  even today, centuries later, its intricate and tall West Front, is still a dominant feature in the community.
